the kohen frames, which take their name after our wood guru, are the first production frames available from anni shades. this classic shape was designed to stand the test of time. they have an angular face, with flared sides to really showcase the material they are made out of. we like to call these our "go-to" frames. they seem to fit just about every occasion, and look good on just about every person we can think of!
a word about our wood:
bamboo is so "far out" (east, that is). a light caramel in color, these frames are made out of 100% bamboo. they feature the classic characteristic features that you think of when puncturing bamboo. it has a very tight grain pattern with the occasional bamboo "knots" here and there. and yes… this is the only pair that we build NOT using 100% wood.
why fiber? because is strong. real strong. and yes, this pair has it.
